It is approaching the end of Mysteries in the Imperial Harem (13 chapters to go?) and I am thinking of which novels to continue with. Unfortunately, the other 3 novels on the next generation was not interesting enough for me to translate. The stories lack of the punch or the ability to make me read it through in one sitting, which I prefer in any novels I pick up.
After much thoughts, the decision was made to translate the following. ๐

Remarks: Basically its about an Empress was decreed to die by her husband the Emperor and she had an opportunity to relive her life from when she was 14 with all her memories intact. So armed with the facts of the future, she work hard to save single loved ones who died and take revenge on every single one who harm them. Finished reading this a month back in one looooooong sitting and thought that it would be a good project to work on. Plot is tight and there is always something happening in each chapter that makes you want to read on. But its 2.3.5 CHAPTERS!!! This is a long term commitment!!! I hope you will stay with me throughout it. To better understand this story, I will be posting an introduction to it next Thurs…

Honestly, I agree with your views about the other connecting novels of the other sisters. It does lack the punch this one has. Just reading your little intro about the new translations is making my heart skip a beat. Sounds very entertaining. Support all the way….it’s only 200…something …chapters looongg. I love the quality of your translations, so I’ll probably check it out eventually, but I prefer to start when there’s already at least a dozen chapters out.

Hello, I wonder is this novel that you suggested is something like “The Cry of the Phoenix Which Reached the Ninth Heaven”, from the reviews from that story I learned that it is full of revenge. In all 300+ chapters it is nothing more than revenge.
Is it going to be the same or there will be also some easy for the hearth chapters?
