    • I think he’s asking because the move Rui made just now with changing the instructions in Pei’s letter will make it impossible for SM to marry Fu Xiu Yi if Xiu Yi thinks that she is one of Rui’s people. That would make her have to put her lot in with Rui. That’s my guess. XD

      • Logically speaking, the emperor wouldn’t be that happy to say “Yes”, Shen xin is his strongest general now since Xie clan is down. It’s too risky to let your general has too close of relation with foreign country that is not even an ally. They might form a collusion.
        Great Liang seems to have a big appetite towards Ming Qi, that’s why the emperor wants to make an ally with Qin kingdom.
        Well, but it’s indeed not impossible.
        I think Rui Wang would find a way to make that happen if SM agrees to it.
