Chapter 17: Who Taught you

He truly did not guard against the Imperial family, he simply did it to go against his father.

“However,” he frowned and suddenly turned the conversation around, “How did you suddenly figure out this matter. The previous times that I had reminded you, you did not take it to heart.”

Su Ming Feng bowed his head in shame, “Emotions ran high and one became complacent, so how would one think that much. This time it was all thanks to my Second Younger Brother.”

“Your Second Younger Brother?” Xie Jing Xing who was leaning against the chair lazily, sat up straight as a look flashed in his eyes, “That glutinous rice dumpling?”

Su Ming Lang stared wide eyed.

“Boil the hound once the rabbit is caught.” Xie Jing Xin smiled extremely wickedly.

    And omg the little dumpling is so cuteee~ Why does the Little Marquis have.to treat him so coldly, be a little nicer to the kid!! And I just love how Shen Miao is just pruning flowers and smiling as she wonders what the Su Family will do….I’m guessing once the Little Marquis finds out, he might try to come into contact with her and they might ally their families??? Idk, can’t wait to find out !!!

Xie Jing Xin’s pretty sharp. .. or maybe he just has no faith in Su Ming Lang ever growing out of his stupidity, so he chose to ignore the sudden intelligence and pin it on something else >o< What is the difference is age between the Su's First Young Master and Xie Jing Xie?

    I’m really excited how both the second and the third household spies (that were sent as ears and eyes in the first household) would report to their respective mistresses. I mean, our lovely Shen Miao (who they have thought as a stupid, feeble girl) is pruning flowers in her courtyard! As what I’ve learned indirectly from novels, gardening is considered as one of the elegant hobbies or skills a female must learn along with literature, poetry, musical instrument, & etc.

    I can imagine them with their minds be like, ‘Did this girl drank a bucket of pond water and got to wash all her uselessness?’ LMAO Sorry, aunties, Shen Miao is on a different scale than you’ve ever imagine! XD

    Hahahah, I salute you XJX! Great catch on learning it wasn’t SML who sneakily warned the Su Family to take caution. Although, at least have faith in this cute child too! Or please be gentle to him, SML is our little round dumpling!

    Things are getting exciting, can’t wait for the examinations though. I know SM will surprise everyone with her sudden change. Question though, Gao Yang or Yung (idk), a senior of XJX mentioned in the previous chapters, can you tell me what is his position in the palace or which noble family is he related or is he a student/young soldier?
