Chapter 157: Internal Strife (Part 1)

“There is really a troublesome matter.” Shen Wan laughed bitterly as he replied.

Cang Zai Qing patted Shen Wan’s hand and smiled, “If there is anything annoying Master, why not tell me about it? Perhaps I could still help you with something.”

Shen Wan looked at Cang Zai Qing’s abdomen. Even though one was unable to see anything at the moment, he still said, “Never mind. The most important thing for you is to take care of one’s health in the residence. There is no need to handle such complicated things, moreover it is a court matter.”

Her gentle words touched the core of Shen Wan’s heart. The difference between Cang Zai Qing and Chen Rou Qiu was that Chen Rou Qiu was really a ‘pampered wife’. When Cang Zai Qing saw this, her heart slightly moved.

In any case, it was not anything good for Shen Miao to be a CeFei when marrying to Prince Zhou.         It was an odd situation when the both of use just got a new job at the same time.

        Said jobs demand us of a lot of time. As for me, im working 9 hours a day, plus a bit at home, so I just get home to eat and sleep (and read a bit :p)

    FXY’ scheme would be good if Shen Miao would have been the one form her past. But now she is the empress and she knows her enemy too well. She will turn it around (maybe throw all the dirty water on Shen Yue while she is at it). But I wonder why CZQ didn’t deal with her family in the past life. I mean they suddenly appeared and dragged her back. Do you think it was perhaps FXY who used CZQ to disrupt the 1st household and then trew her away?

    Anyway I am out buying popcorn again, There was so much to enjoy I have used all of my stored popcorn 😉

    • I also wonder why she didn’t deal with husband and son before she left in both lifetimes. Its odd that someone like CZQ would have left behind a weakness.

      Yes, it would make better sense if she had been a spy found, manipulated and placed by FXY to disrupt first household.

      • These are just my conjectures, but in the previous lifetime, due to poverty CZQ left her husband and child to try and have better luck in the capital by leeching of the first Shen household. As (reincarnated) Shen Miao had suspected, CZQ was also approached by CRQ to disrupt the first Shen household, which CQZ succeeded. I don’t know (forgot) if it was ever mentioned that CZQ got pregnant with Shen Xin’s child, but CQZ probably thought that nobody would ever find out about her (CZQ) abandoning her (CZQ) husband and son and the husband was too poor to try and find CZQ. Even if the husband did try to locate CZQ, CZQ would then have the means (money and first Shen household military power and influence) to eliminate her (CZQ) husband and child (What a cold-hearted b*tch). In this lifetime, CZQ is pregnant with Shen Wan’s child, so CZQ needs to eliminate her (CZQ) husband and child fast or earlier than the last lifetime. Still… what a coldhearted b*tch. Geh.

      • Now that I think about it I think it might be because in the first life the first household was already weakened and Shen Miao wasn’t as threatening as now. Maybe CZQ wants to tie up the loose ends as soon as possible.

    SW really wants to take CZQ’s advise to kidnap SM lol! It seems as if they are all suffering from amnesia. Previously when SM was said to be kidnapped, how did it end?! What were the events that happened afterwards? Lol!

I’d create a really inspiring tale of 2 princes of opposing sides who fall for each other and decide to unite the two kingdoms by becoming emperors.. even if it doesn’t work, itd be interesting to see their faces when they found out about these rumors
