But nowhere in her contingency plans has she made any escape for the one thing she would be unprepared for – LOVE! It gives me fuzzy feelings that unwittingly, she and her future hubby are collaborating together against prince Yu. They… to talk about killing the Shen family so casually, why? So yes, I dislike them. Also, the description about his eye? I could do without the author blunt admiration for the ML.
    Is it too much to ask for someone, not ruthless and genius and greek-god-beauty but for someone with kind and loyal heart as ML for SM..

    • Truth be told loyalty and love cant be born from thin air , but i agree he really seemed like an arrogant prick when he just casually said they can wipe the shen family if they turned on them , considering he lost his life absurdly(been ordered to sacrifice his life uselessly by the emperor who was SM husband) despite all his ‘awesomly’ connections and abilities

    • Personally, I think that because his father’s life was on the line and there is a possibility that there were other threatening factors to consider. Maybe deep down he truly loves his father and was simply coerced into making that decision. Hopefully, more will be revealed on that matter 🙂

And ngl, while she’s not a good person, I still kinda feel bad for Shen Qing… Like she’s still 16 so she still has a lot of time to change and take different actions than the last timeline… (And there are many people that commit serious crimes when young, and grow up to be decent members of society. And Shen Qing was horrible to Shen Miao at least partially because of her family’s influence.)
