Translated summary…

The Di daughter of military lineage, pure, amiable, quiet and yielding, foolishly in love with Prince Ding, throwing oneself to the role of a wife.

After assisting (a ruler) for six year, she finally became the mother to the world.

Accompanying him to fight for the country, to flourish the country’s territory, taking risk to be a hostage in other country, after returning five years later, there was no place to fit in the Inner Palace.

The beauty in his arms smile brightly, “Older sister, the country is stabilized and you should retire.”

Daughter had met with a violent death and the Crown Prince was disposed. Shen family who had sacrifice themselves for the country, not one of them were lucky to escape. In one dynasty everything was overturn, her clan had perished and she need to mourn for her children!

Shen Miao never did thought that as a married couple who went through trials and tribulations and mutually assisting one another was just a stage joke to him!

He said, “Seeing that you have followed Zhen for twenty years, will grant you with an intact corpse. Thank this kindness.”

Under the three Chi (1 chi = 1/3 meter) of white silk, Shen Miao made a malicious vow: In the time to come, she will take part in each and everyone’s end!

Upon rebirth, she return to the time when she was fourteen, where the tragedy had yet to occur, her family were still alive and she was still the pure, amiable, quiet and yielding Di daughter of military lineage.

Relatives hiding a black heart, Elder and younger (female) cousins are ruthless and malicious, the new Yiniang is like a tiger watching its prey and the disreputable man that wants to repeat of events?

Family must be protected, the huge enmity must be avenged, the Imperial seat of the country must also be part of the trophy. In this lifetime, let’s see who can beat the others!

But that little marquis from the Xie family, the arrogant and obstinate spear carrying youth, stood biasedly at her side and proudly said, “Just the fall of the Imperial power. Remember this, the world belongs to you. You– Belong to me!”

After that he calmly said, “We are all like locusts on one rope. Shen Miao, you should not go beyond your bounds. With this marquis shouldering, who dare to force you to marry others?”

After much later he pampered proudly, “The peak of the heaven and earth is only like this. Shen Jiao Jiao, in the country that spans ten thousands of Li (1 Li = 500m), why don’t we spilt it up between the two of us?”

Finally he waved his hand aggressively, “Wife, it is so troublesome to divide everything up. Don’t divide it up already! All will belong to you and you belong to me!”

Shen Miao. “Bengong wants to you to get out!” The aggressive Empress’s who was reborn and the bad youthful little Xie marquis’s hearts were clean, join hands in strength and pampered one another.

I like this novel very much!! Usually I stay away from rebirth stories cause a lot of them is about revenge and they would do really cruel things to the others who harm them in the previous life. This one is a little bit different. She gives as much as she received the past life, so many a times the exact things that happen to her/her family the past life, will befall on her enemies in this lifetime. And nearing the end, it was also explained how she got this rebirth in the first place (which was surprising to know how it came out).

Just to put it out, the a** Emperor who dispose her and decreed for her to die is not the Xie marquis, Xie Jing Xing. And the little Xie marquis is the male lead!!!! The good thing about Xie Jing Xing is that he helps the Shen Miao in her plots in little ways (indirectly providing information, to throwing the a princess to the middle of the river, to give hidden advice) but he always let Shen Miao handle the baddies herself. He only intervene when some of the bad guys capture her and want to torture her then he will step in to save her (she is after all a female without any martial arts skills). Even though Xie Jing Xing does whatever he wants, he is attracted to her because of how she handled herself and how ruthless she is when others tried to harm her loved ones. As there is a number of guys liking Shen Miao, Xie Jing Xing also displays cute outbursts of jealousy which made me giggle…

As for the female lead, even though she has the power of knowledge of the future, her actions change the future which complicates her plans. Even without any backings or power, she was able to place her chest pieces and turn the tide around even when things/events get accelerated, it would not hamper her goal of writing the wrongs that were done to her and protecting the people who are dear to her. The novel shows the devastating events of her past life where her parents died, her kids die and her maids die all because of her evil relatives and a** husband (I won’t give him the right to have his name in my post! He is forever known as the a** to all posts of mine unless the translation calls for it) and also showed a glimpse of what happen after she died, which was also at the end of the novel.

  10. I still haven’t read Qing Feng’s story yet because I caught glimpses of the emperor in the other two books and every time I reacted very badly. I will one day read about Qing Feng but not yet.   11. I was reading your comments about the novel and the MC almost sounds like Chen Rong from Mei Gongqing. Chen Rong also was reborn (or given the chance to redo things) but she kinda depended too much on her past memory about what happened. So when things started to change from what she remembered, she didn’t really know how to find solutions and ended up needing to be ‘rescued’ quite a few times by men (I say men because I’m not sure which one is the male lead yet). She basically lost her edge when the timeline events change. The feature that bothered me the most about her was how much she would belittle herself; which basically caused her to have lots of self doubt and become an indecisive character (from the translation that I’ve read so far). I hope Shen Miao (I’m assuming that this is our MC girl’s name) is more adaptable, smarter, and decisive than Chen Rong.
    Also, does the novel start off at Shen Miao’s death? If it does, I’ll wait until a few chapters are translated. My interest gets tweaked once the MC settles a little into her rebirth.

  26. If little Xie marquis is not the ass emperor, then who is he in her previous life? Shouldn’t she, in the previous life, had encountered him? I can imagine that she went to a parallel universe.
