All the photos of all the food I ate in Seoul and Jeju. Please be aware that all of the food are finished up by 2 females unless otherwise stated. We do not advocate food wastage. But no worries, we walked and climbed too much stairs that both of us actually lost 1 kg at the end of the trip (16 ~ 19,000 steps per day there as compared to average 3 ~ 4,000 steps back home for me).

Caution: This would make your tummy growl… 😛

Will put up another post on all the scenery and sights in Korea…

Waffle and sausages @ Spoon Race
The waffle was still crisp when we eat after all the photo taking and posing (at least 15 mins) and its sweetness with the saltiness of the sausages & bacon was pretty addictive. Both my friend and I clean out the plate in less than 30 mins…

Ginseng Chicken Soup @ Tosokchon
We shared one serving between the both of us as it was a late lunch and we will be having a heavy dinner in a few hours time. But the restaurant still gave us two shots of Ginseng wine which we poured into the soup for that extra kick (you can also drink it separately). Very yummy and it gives us more energy for shopping and sightseeing after that.

Green Tea Latte, Green Tea Tiramisu & Black Roll Cake @ O’Sulloc Cafe
We hunted this cafe down since we skip it when we were at Jeju. Worth the time and effort. The latte was made with soy milk and it was creamy but not heavy. The green tea tiramisu was more like green tea cheese cake. And the Black Roll Cake was awesome! Thought that the cream in the middle was too much but it was light and even though the green tea was light, I could still taste it with the chocolate sponge layer around it.

Strawberry Bingsu @ Snow Flake House
This was a random find but I was pleasantly surprise when I dig into the bowl of dessert. There were more strawberries hidden in the ice flakes!!! I expected that there would only be more ice but found like 5 to 6 more inside… Super yummy! Korean strawberries are AWESOMELY SWEET!!!

Seafood and Kimchi Porridge @ Bonjuk
The lightest food of the entire trip. A bit spicy due to the Kimchi but it was too yummy to pass. There was also abalone available but I decided to try something else.

Korea Snow Crab @ Noryangjin Fish Market
We haggled with the fishmonger for this and manage to get this and 4 small abalones for KRW 40,000. CHEAP!!! Both of us ignored one another and our numb legs (as we need to sit on the floor) until every single meat is gone from the shells. 😛

Red Velvet Cupcake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Macron and Berries Smoothie @ Line Friends Cafe
This was a themed cafe with the Line app. Everything was so cute and Instagram-worthy. Food wise… The desserts was average. Good to go for the experience.

Double Chocolate Cake & Hot Chocolate @ Coffeesmith
The cafe was quite uniquely designed with the second floor able to see the first floor and the streets. THIS is a great place to hang out with friends for a chat. Did not have much expectations on the dessert but was pleasantly surprise to find that the Double Chocolate Cake was fluffy and was not too sweet or bitter. I personally love dark chocolate while my friend love milk chocolate but this was something both of us actually like… Both me and her were like fighting for the last bite… 😛

Eel & Ganjang Gejang (Soy Crabs) @ Keungiwajip
The BEST meal of the entire trip. I had it before at the same place and was looking forward to this meal ever since I started planning for the entire trip. We ordered the Eel just in case my friend did not like the Soy Crabs. The sweetness of the crab meat (its raw) and the soy sauce that it was marinated in was PERFECT!!! Just by biting into the body of the crab, the soft and tender meat will ooze out onto your mouth and practically melt. And the crab roe mixed with rice before placing on the dried roasted seaweed tasted so freaking good as it spreads throughout your entire mouth as you chew on the rice. There was no fishy smell or raw taste. Even my friend fell in love with it… *Swallowed my saliva* I WANT TO EAT IT AGAIN!!!

Seafood Stew @ Incheon Airport food court
This was the last meal of the trip… It tasted like how typical seafood stew tasted like. Nothing special.

Black Pig’s 5 Layer meat & Shoulder/Neck meat @ Hae-o-rem Sikdang
Black pig meat is like the Wayu beef of pork! We ordered the neck meat TWICE and finish every single piece. FREAKING YUMMY!!! We ate it with Soju (Korean vodka)… Freaking good combo!

Nine Layer of Steam Shells @ Mu-han-jo-gae-kk-kka
CHEAP!!! This cost us KRW 88,000 and it was shared among 5 of us. But we could only finish 8.5 layers before all of us give up (if only we have bigger stomachs). The layers are stacked on top of one another and when you finish one layer then it would be removed to show another layer… The order of the layers are from the left to the right, from the top row to the bottom row. All the steam that condenses or the water from the clams will drip down to the soup which taste YUMMY!!! I felt my cholesterol raising as I eat it… 😛

Abalone Seafood Stew @ A restaurant next to Cheonjiyeon Falls
For KRW 30,000 you get to eat all that (minus the skate fish at the bottom of the picture)! And there are 6 abalones (I think its 6 cause we eat too fast and did not count it. When we finally wanted to count, the Ahjumma already cleared the small rubbish bowl. Based on the picture, it seems 6?), 1 big squid, 1 small crab, 4 prawns and some shellfish!!! 6 FREAKING ABALONES!!! I got no idea how the restaurant could sell it at such a price… Totally enjoyed finishing it… My friend loves the soup so much that she practically drank everything… Poor me only had like 10? spoonfuls of soup. Apparently according to her, the soup tasted like how the sea breeze brush by you… I was like yeah-this-is-awesome-and-I-am-going-to-finish-everything-while-you-are-being-poetic. LOL
